Juliana Harris lives in the rural township of Academy, California, a tiny hamlet in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, about 25 miles northeast of Fresno. She exhibits regularly at Fig Tree Gallery, in Fresno, and in galleries and arts venues throughout the state. She is a member of the California Contemporary Art Collective. She studied at the Art Students' League of New York under American masters Robert Brackman (painting) and Robert Beverly Hale (life drawing). She attended Emerson College in Boston, the State University of New York at Albany, and the University of New Orleans. She received her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of the State of New York. Kudos include the Fresno Arts Council's Dining with the Artists, honoree; and the Fresno Art Museum's Next Wave II: Artists of the New Era Decennial Exhibition. Her work is represented in private and public collections in the United States and Canada.
